On February 27th, the partners of the Erasmus+ co-funded project Navigating AI Regulations: A Practical Guide (Project No: 2024-2-DE02-KA210-VET-000287096) convened for a crucial online meeting. The session brought together INI-Novation GmbH, represented by Dr. Wolfgang Kniejski and Mrs. Angela Ivanova, and Budakov Films, represented by Prof. Dr. Petyo Budakov and Dr. Yordan Karapenchev. This collaborative effort focused on refining key project activities, aligning research findings, and ensuring high-quality project outcomes.
The meeting served as an opportunity to review progress, refine strategies, and discuss critical actions related to the project’s first and second results. With a strong commitment to empowering trainers and freelancers in the creative industry, the partners engaged in productive discussions on project management, quality assurance, training module development, and dissemination strategies.

Key Discussions and Outcomes
Project Management and Coordination
The session began with an overview of the project’s current status, reinforcing the importance of effective coordination to ensure timely execution of activities. The partners discussed strategies to streamline communication, monitor milestones, and allocate responsibilities efficiently. By reinforcing a structured management approach, the project continues to progress towards achieving its objectives in a seamless and well-organized manner.
Activity 1: Analyzing Focus Group Interview Results
A major focus of the meeting was the analysis of focus group interviews conducted as part of Activity 1. The partners reviewed the key findings, which provided valuable insights into the existing knowledge gaps and training needs of creative industry professionals regarding AI regulations. These findings will play a crucial role in shaping the project’s training content, ensuring that it addresses real-world challenges faced by freelancers and trainers.
By synchronizing their interpretations of the focus group results, the partners ensured a data-driven approach to curriculum development. Discussions also emphasized how these findings would be integrated into the training framework to provide a structured, needs-based learning experience.
Activity 2: Defining the Training Modules
With the groundwork laid by the focus group research, the next stage of the discussion centered on the development of the training program, titled “AI-Driven Creativity: Advanced Training for Digital Innovators.” This training program will serve as a structured resource for equipping creative professionals with AI knowledge and compliance awareness.
The partners explored key considerations for module content, ensuring that the training program will:
- Address AI regulations, compliance, and ethical considerations, with a focus on the AI Act.
- Cover practical AI applications in creative processes, helping professionals integrate AI tools effectively.
- Include data governance and transparency principles, enabling responsible and informed AI use.
Additionally, the discussion emphasized the importance of an engaging and interactive learning experience. The partners explored different instructional formats, including video lessons, case studies, and practical exercises to ensure maximum knowledge retention.
Quality Management and KPI Monitoring
Maintaining high standards in project execution and outputs remains a top priority. During the meeting, the partners outlined the key Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that will be used to measure the impact of the project. These include:
- The number of creative professionals trained.
- The effectiveness of training materials, assessed through feedback and evaluations.
- The reach and engagement levels of dissemination activities.
Regular monitoring and evaluation mechanisms were discussed to ensure the project consistently meets its objectives and delivers long-term value to its target audience.
Dissemination Strategies and Stakeholder Engagement
Dissemination plays a vital role in ensuring that the project’s results reach a broad audience and create lasting impact. The partners reviewed current and upcoming communication and outreach strategies, including:
- Expanding online presence through the project website, social media, and professional networks.
- Organizing public events and workshops to share insights and gather feedback.
- Leveraging local and international networks to maximize engagement with stakeholders.
The discussion underscored the importance of actively involving creative professionals, trainers, and policymakers in the dissemination process. By fostering an inclusive and participatory approach, the project aims to create a sustainable knowledge-sharing ecosystem.
Looking Ahead
The online meeting marked an important step forward in refining and advancing the project’s objectives. With a clear roadmap established, the next phases of the project will focus on:
- Finalizing the training program structure based on the focus group insights.
- Developing engaging educational materials that effectively communicate AI regulations and best practices.
- Expanding outreach efforts to ensure widespread access to the training program.
With the strong collaboration between INI-Novation GmbH and Budakov Films, the project continues to align with Erasmus+ priorities, fostering digital skills development, AI literacy, and regulatory compliance in the creative industry.
Stay tuned for more updates as the project progresses towards equipping creative professionals with the knowledge and tools to navigate AI regulations with confidence and innovation.
