Navigating AI Regulations: Practical Guide (Project Number: 2024-2-DE02-KA210-VET-000287096) is an Erasmus+ co-funded Small Scale Partnership aimed at supporting professionals in understanding and implementing AI-related regulations. Led by INI-Novation GmbH (Germany) in collaboration with Budakov Films (Bulgaria), the project focuses on developing a practical guide that simplifies complex legal frameworks, ensuring SMEs, educators, and stakeholders can effectively navigate the evolving AI regulatory landscape. Through innovative resources and expert insights, the project empowers businesses and professionals to align with compliance requirements while fostering responsible AI adoption.

Project Activities

To ensure effective learning and compliance with AI regulations, our project focuses on three key activities. These steps will develop a structured, practical training program that equips professionals with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the AI Act.

Activity 1: Establishing Training Scope and EQF Level 3 Alignment

From January to March 2025, INI-Novation and Budakov Films will specify the scope of the ‘AI-Driven Creativity: Advanced Training for Digital Innovators’ program. This stage focuses on structuring the course to meet EQF Level 3 standards, ensuring trainers receive the necessary knowledge and skills to integrate AI Act regulations into their teaching.

Activity 2: Producing the Training Program ‘AI-Driven Creativity: Advanced Training for Digital Innovators’

With a strong emphasis on compliance and ethical AI use, both partners will design and produce the training program. Covering risk classification, transparency, compliance, and data governance, this phase ensures that professionals in the creative industries gain essential insights into adhering to AI regulations.

Activity 3: Hands-On Training and Community Engagement

From September to December 2025, both partners will test, refine, and optimize the training program based on real-world feedback. To enhance accessibility, the materials will be translated into partner languages and include subtitles, making AI compliance education more inclusive for professionals across different regions.

About the Partners

The collaboration between INI-Novation and Budakov Films began in 2018 with the successful launch of the Erasmus+ co-funded project “CreatINNES” (Project No: 2018-1-DE02-KA202-005232). Since then, the two organizations have fostered a strong and dynamic partnership, continuously building on the achievements of their joint initiatives. Both partners face similar challenges in the rapidly evolving Cultural and Creative Sectors (CCS) but bring complementary strengths to the table. Their expertise in AI-driven innovation, education, and digital transformationallows them to effectively address industry needs, ensuring impactful and forward-thinking solutions in every project they undertake.

As a freelance graphic designer, this project is exactly what I needed to understand how to use AI tools legally and ethically while enhancing my creative work.
